59E59 Theaters Internship – Summer 2013
The 59E59 Internship provides interns with an intense, hands-on experience with the press, marketing, and membership departments at an award-winning Off Broadway theater. The 59E59 intern works closely with the Press & Marketing Assistant and the Membership Coordinator in handling the day-to-day responsibilities of a theater office.
Duties include: assembling and maintaining press and advertising archives, content creation for the 59E59 Theater blog, general office support, maintaining relations with local businesses, and assisting the Membership Coordinator with member relations and processing, including the growth of 59E59 Theater’s UP229 membership program.
The small size of the 59E59 office makes this internship an ideal opportunity to gain insight into the workings of a busy presenting house. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and outgoing with a sense of humor and an engaging personality.
The internship is a part-time, 20 hours a week position. It varies in length from one to three months. To apply, please send a resume and letter of interest to Nina Segal.
