by Alan Lyddiard
directed by Joe Tantalo
Two-time Drama Desk nominated Godlight Theatre Company presents the exclusive New York engagement of George Orwell's 1984 adapted by Alan Lyddiard (internationally renowned writer and director). The story is of one man's struggle against the ubiquitous, menancing state power of Big Brother that tries to dictate nearly every aspect of human life. A classic in dystopian fiction and a trenchant political sature, 1984 is a relevant, frightening piece for our times.
