Owned and operated by Elysabeth Kleinhans Theatrical Foundation—a not-for-profit operating foundation—59E59 Theaters is a lively venue with a 195-seat theater, a 99-seat theater and a 40-60 seat flexible theater. We present a year-round curated program of about 34 Off-Broadway productions that are nurtured and supported through highly subsidized rental rates that include: technical, ticketing, FOH, marketing & advertising, facilities, and press services.

Director of Marketing

The DIRECTOR OF MARKETING  is a member of 59E59 Theaters’ leadership team, responsible for the generation of all earned ticket revenues while overseeing all aspects of audience development and retention, brand management, special outreach, and engagement programs. You will be essential to conversations about critical institutional issues that have a lasting impact on our organization and its position in the industry. The Director of Marketing builds relationships with the individual companies whose work we present and is responsible for providing marketing and communication services which include, but is not limited to, planning and executing campaigns to brand and promote individual shows to meet each company’s earned income goals.

Theater Manager

The THEATER MANAGER is a leadership position and is the primary supervisor of the venue during the evening hours. You will engage a team of part-time staff by teaching and modeling superior customer relations skills to maintain a warm and welcoming environment for guests, visiting companies, and staff. Supervises FOH and bar staff serving three Off and Off Off Broadway theater space.

Marketing and Ticketing Coordinator

The Marketing and Ticketing Coordinator provides administrative support to the Theaters’ Marketing and Ticketing department. This position manages the patron database, and plays key roles in supporting membership, partnership, and group outreach. Additionally, this position assists the 59E59 Theaters appointed press rep with press relations.
