Show Info

Written and Directed by Joy Donze

With Joy Donze, Akaina Ghosh, and Deirdre Lovejoy

In this modern-day, queer-coded witch hunt, Eve, a woman working on the fringe of the mental health system blurs the line between hired advocate and spy. On a rollercoaster of grey areas and spiritual awakening, her alluringly witchy, enigmatic client challenges Eve’s sense of ethics, truth and perception, leaving her questioning who gets to judge and ultimately shape reality.

Part of 59E59 Theaters' East to Edinburgh 2026

Reviews

"A heart-racing, sexy, witchy queer rollercoaster that I never wanted to get off. It’s equally soft and cunning, thrilling and funny, all while making you question everything you’ve ever believed about sanity, spiritual awakenings, truth and loyalty. It will tear you apart and make you whole again." – Nylon

"A thrilling insider look at the world of mental healthcare, bleeding with ethical ambiguity, deception and sexy queer overtones." – Cosmopolitan
