Brian Parks’ (Playwright) other plays include Americana Absurdum (Best Writing award at the NYC Fringe Festival and a Fringe First award at the Edinburgh Fringe; also produced at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory), Enterprise (Edinburgh Fringe First award), Shortlist, The Professor, The Golfer, Goner, Out of the Way, The House, and Plotters (which had a sold-out run at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe).
Margarett Perry (Director) is an award-winning director of new plays, directing and developing plays Off Broadway and in regional theaters across the country and in Scotland and London. She's the artistic director of Twilight Theatre Co. (Not Nobody, Polishing Shakespeare, Rosenberg/Strange Fruit Project, A Special Relationship). She is a regular at the Kitchen Theatre Company where she has helmed over 25 productions.
Matthew Boston (Actor) is thrilled to be back at the Edinburgh Festival having performed Brian Park’s Enterprise (Fringe First), The Golfer, Shortlist, and Plotters. This marks his 8th collaboration with Brian Parks and his 16th with director Margarett Perry. He has played leading roles in New York and regional theaters across the country as well as numerous film and television appearances.
Brian Dykstra (Actor) is an actor, playwright and HBO def Poet. Broadway: Lucky Guy, Great Society. Patrick Frederic (Actor) performed in Brian Parks’ play The Golfer in 2022 and is thrilled to return to Edinburgh in The Problem collaborating once again with M. Perry, M. Boston and B. Dykstra. He’s done lots of theater all over the place, television and a few flicks along with numerous commercials, VOs, and audiobooks. Just ask him, he’ll tell you!
