In 1977, choreographer Rachel Lampert arrived in China to stage a production of WEST SIDE STORY with an all Chinese-speaking cast. The compilation of her expierence in China is THE SOUP COMES LAST, a one-woman comedy filled with hilarious dialogue and cross-cultural mis-steps all timed to the familiar dictum "the show must go on!" Love, humor, and the universal desire to reach one's dreams are the ingredients of Lampert's SOUP.
