This one-woman show powerfully affirms the dignity, humanity and spiti of the Vietnamese and Cambodian people while examining the lingering effects of the Vietnam War, and the legacy of misinformation that extist in the United States about that war. Through this poignant piece we see how history is distorted by the media and re-written by Hollywood movies. Inspired by Ms. Narita's conversations and interviews with Vietnamese and Cambodian women, WALK THE MOUNTAIN celebrates their lives, joys, and sorrows, their courage and bravery, and thier dreams for the future.
